Miami, FL - Lost Senior Black Cocker Spaniel

NEEDS MEDICATION!!
REWARD WILL BE GIVEN!!!
Last seen at the Country Club
of
Male Black Cocker Spaniel, white on chest area, 11 yrs old, goes by the name of Puppi
Casandra Nuques writes:
I lost my Cocker Spaniel on Thursday night 7/22/10 and have not found him since. He is 11 years old and has a white chest and beard. He's about 40 lbs and will come to u if u have food. We lost him Thursday night by the Country Club of Miami golf course in the Miami Lakes/Hialeah area - that's where I live. One of my neighbors saw him running around on the golf course Thursday night. Unfortunately he didn't have his collar on that day and he does not have a chip either. He is a hunter so his first instinct is to chase after animals so I'm thinking he chased after something too far out and couldn't find his way back. I'm going every day to the shelter in case someone turns him in :( Casandra Nuques Email: cnuques@stephenjames.com

South Lyon, Michigan - Family's swseet Trixie, a white miniature schnauzer is missing - probably stolen - Please share her story and help locate her ASAP

Kristy McIntire writes: We think someone stopped on 10 mile, behind our house on the evening of July 20 and picked up our puppy, Trixie. She did not have her collar on, and was let out of the house by accident by one of the kids. Trixie is a 6 month old, white, miniature schnauzer. Please contact me if you have any information. We are hoping it was someone that lives near by, that saw her, and picked her up thinking they did not want to see her get hit by a car.
Thanks,

Update - July 12 - Rocky has been found (see email that follows from his very grateful mom)
Rocky was rescued tonight !!!
He went from being alone, scared and hungry this morning to sleeping
peacefully in our living room with a fully belly and clean coat.
We
got a call at around 5PM that he was in someone's yard. He had run behind
their shed. Ironically enough, Andrew and I had just left a flier in their
mail box today. Chris was closest, so she arrived first, followed by myself
and Bridget. Chris did an amazing job watching Rocky, talking to him and
throwing food (which he wouldn't take). We sat there for 2 hours. Bridget
and Chris switched places, and a few minutes later, Rocky began to creep
towards me at the largest exit. He laid down, and Bridget told me to slowly
approach him, so I crawled to him (through a lot of nasty stuff!) sooooo
slowly. I was able to extend my arm just enough to touch his nose with one
finger, and when I did, I knew we had him. I could feel the relief coming
from his body. He let me touch him, and I held onto his collar and slipped
a leash on. That was it--we had him!!! We were all crying like babies. We
couldn't have done it without Chris' patience and Bridget's direction.
After a few minutes, Rocky ate and drank. I am taking him to the vet
tomorrow. We didn't want to traumatize him any further tonight since he's
in good shape, just hungry and tired. He is doing well with our pack and
loving the attention. I can't believe that he is the same dog I saw a few
nights ago. I truly believe that Rocky wanted to be rescued and wanted
someone to reach out and touch him. Rocky wants a family to love him and
give him the attention that he so deserves. I know he will find that, and
until then, he will be with us...though we would love to keep him...but 4
dogs is too much already. :-(

And, finally, I want to thank you all for your prayers, support, tears
and love. Rocky has no idea how lucky he is, but I know how lucky he and I
both are to have all of you. We truly have an amazing rescue family, and I
am humbled by the generosity and love I have felt from each of you.
With love, Amy
This is the original post:

We need your help. Rocky was adopted today,
and no sooner did his new famly welcome him in their arms than he bolted from
their vehicle in the Barnes &Noble parking lot in Little Falls, NJ. Rocky is
friendly and sweet, but he must be so afraid all alone in a strange place.

Magnolia, TX - Jack's family is desperately searching for him - disappeared on April 5 from Montgomery Trace Subdivision, East Blue Lake Drive. This area is next to The Woodlands, so he may even be spotted there.

Jack is a white and black domestic shorthair. He is 10 years old, weighs 17 lbs. As you can see in the photo below, he has very bold, readily identifiable markings, including stripes on his tail. His eyes are gray. He was last seen at home on Monday April 5. His family has placed posters around the Magnolia/Woodlands area in other nearby subdivisions, etc., and have received calls over the last few weeks from people who believe they have seen Jack (as recently as April 28), so it is hoped that he is still OK and just lost.

Jack's family says he has a huge purr, but a very little voice. He is loved and missed. Please share Jack's story with anyone you know in the Magnolia/Woodlands area. Rescuers located in the area, please watch for Jack at the shelters you are connected with, as he may be turned in by someone.
Jack comes to his name or a whistle. He loves to be petted, but is not fond of being picked up. If you feel you have seen Jack, please call Diane Whitehead at 832-338-7004.
