Searching for Lost Pets or Pets Found Searching for Their Families
We share pleas from pet owners looking for lost pets in hopes that all who see this page will share their stories. If you think you may have seen one of these missing pets, please contact their owners directly. We realize that some of these animals have been missing for a long time; however, their families or rescuers are still looking and hoping. Posted with most recent missing pets first.
Note: www.Petfinder.com is the leading place to check if you are looking for a lost pet!
Also check here:
www.missingpetpartn
And another site for lost or found dogs only is www.fidofinder.com
And yet another site is The Pet Rescue Site which lists missing pets across the US. Check your state to see if you have seen any of them.
And...one more site that helps find lost pets (they do charge, but it appears they are quite effective) is Pet Amber Alert.com

Update - 12/10/11 - Lucky was found!!!
Miami, Florida - Lucky is Missing - please help find him.
Lucky was rescued off the street in Miami Beach over a year ago and the rescuers fell in love and kept him even though they were not allowed to have a dog over 15 lbs in their apt. Lucky has anxiety and his owners went away for two weeks to the other side of the country. They left Lucky with a good friend whose home Lucky has been to hundreds of times and he felt comfortable there. Unfortunately, another friend was trying to help out when the petsitter was working and took Lucky to a new area that he was not familiar with and Lucky got loose and ran away. Last seen in the NW miami area. Please post everywhere. Lucky is very scared so might not come to you. THe best thing is if you sight him to please call one of the numbers on the flier below. Thank you. Kathy Cremer KLCremer@aol.com
