Lucy is 12 years old her human Mom died and she is now in a very temporary foster home where she absolutely cannot stay any longer. Therefore it is needless to say that she is in urgent need of a permanent foster home or adopter even better. Can you give this beautiful cat a place to retire? Lucy may not be the most stunning cat in the world, but she is stunning inside and has a wonderful purrrsonality for an old gal. I just do not understand why nobody wants Lucy, I have sent her out on a number of e-mails to and all of our lists before and no one person came through for Lucy. If you meet her she will melt your heart, I promise. She is no trouble at all, she is laid back quiet, but loves to talk and loves attention, she also makes an anwesome lap warmer.LOL She is in perfect health and will do best as an only cat or with other mellow kitties. She is OK with other kitties, just gets very stressed around too many, which is not good for a senior cat like her. Her adoption fee is $65.00 She is located in NJ.
Winter, Feels Good (front declawed)
Winter is 9 years old she was taken to the shelter because the owner could not afford to keep her anymore (imagine that). She coming into one of our temp. foster homes in a few days, but cannot stay there for too long either. Therefore she needs either a permanent foster or forever home, pronto! She is the sweetest cat of all, not to mention that she is drop dead gorgeous. Please help her. She is located in NY now (still at the shelter), but will be going to Upstate NY in a few days, if we can find her a home soon then she will not have to be put through the stress of a very long transport and then have to be moved once again. Her adoption fee is $65.00
Phinix aka Phoenix
Couldn't really find anything to link Phinix to, but during my search I came across an interesting story about the Phoenix's bird and the meaning of it in Mythology. In a way guess is sort of what Phinix went through in life, when his human Mom died and he lost everything.
Mythology
http://www.adventur
At any rate, Phinix is 12 years old his human Mom died and now he is all alone in this world and needs a place to retire. He is in very good health and is no trouble at all. He is located in Upstate, NY also in temp. foster care, needs a place to go real soon. His adoption fee is $65.00
Ezeee or Easy, FL.
Here is a darling cat with a dog purrrrsonality, actually he thinks he is a dog. Ezeeee is just terrific, he loves to lay on your lap & loves to talk to you, he will make a wonderful addition to any family. He is presently in a temporary foster home in North Florida but cannot stay anymore. We really need to find a good foster home or forever home even better for this wonderful kitty, can you help him? Can you open your heart and home to him. He is approximately 7 years old, is in perfect health. He will do best in a home with NON alpha cats. His adoption fee is $65.00
If you are interested in fostering any of these cats, please keep in mind that HPR always pays for all medical. All you have to do is pay for food and litter, give them love and keep them safe. Please let us know if you can foster any of these babies, they need a place to go real soon.

Kim, their foster mom,
writes:
I was asked over a year ago to please watch these kitties for a little bit while
the owner was going thru a divorce. Needless to say, she NEVER came back for
them, never has called about them, returned my calls, emails etc! I've spent
well over $1,000 in food, flea medicine, vetting, litter, etc in the past year
and I desperately need to find a home for these babies!!!!! I have 12 fosters
living with me now and I need to place these two! I've been waiting for the
owner to do the right thing, but she told our mutual friend, their my kitties
now!! NICE! They are very beautiful and very affectionate, however, 17
animals in my house is just too many (according to my husband) and if I am to
save more, I really need to find homes for these babies! Now, I
personally, do not let my babies outside. However, the owner of these two had
them be outside cats for 3 years with only access to garage. So I do allow them
to have access to outside while supervised. Please
if you can give these babies a home please contact Kim Tussey - Carter at
203-984-5380 Email:
kim_frankie@
A friend of Kim's, Susie
Martin added: These
gorgeous boys are 4 years old, neutered, and FIV and FeLV negative. They're
precious kitties and do not deserve to have been abandoned during a divorce
battle!! They still need homes, as of 7/20 p.m. Kim has to keep them in
her basement but does bring them upstairs to be part of the family a couple of
hours each evening. She wants a better life for them. Please contact her at
the email copied above if you or anyone you know can give them that better
life. Thanks! Susie

Atlanta, GA area - very sad situation...11 year old Maggie's family lost their home and cannot keep her.
![Maggie[1].JPG](urgent_files/image001.jpg)
Petra Brooks writes: Please read the original e-mail below from Maggie's owners. I have talked back and forth with Carolyn and she is very upset about this development. I already told her that black dogs are not exactly sought after in GA and Seniors are not sought after anywhere. This makes the situation for Miss Maggie very tough. PLEASE, let's help Miss Maggie out. If you can help, please contact me, Petra Brooks, at newbeginningsanimalrescue@gmail.com
Maggie's owner's email to Petra: I am in Flowery Branch, GA and I am trying to find a home for my 11 year old spayed female Lab mix. She is approx. 95 lbs. I lost my job a year ago and just recently had to file bankruptcy and lost our house. We just moved to a rental house and no pets are allowed. She is my husband’s dog so she loves to be with men. I am looking for a place that she can have freedom to play in her twilight years. She is house trained. She eats once a day in the morning and she doesn't like to be left alone. I think it's because she is older now. She doesn't like thunder or fire crackers. We shave her to keep her cool. She needs her shots for the year. She is an awesome dog, excellent with kids and other animals, lays at your feet and follows you around. It’s heart breaking. Can you please help me find a home for her? Her name is Maggie. Thank you so much and God bless. Carolyn

Brooklyn, NY - Lilly's owner passed away - now she is alone and needs a loving home.
Lily (Brindle, medium hair, 6+ years, shy, spayed/immunized) has lived as only cat with her owner throughout her owner's battle with cancer. She would be best in an only cat in house (hiding from my one other cat--foster situation) cat is shy. sweet though timid.
traumatized by loss of caregiver, but is ready to share new love with someone. Currently in East Williamsburg Brooklyn with
Courtney Wrenn. 917-653-6184 or email scrapworm@earthlink.net
Burns Flats, Oklahoma - sweet Barron is looking for a special, loving home - his person loves him, but will be traveling away from home with his new job. Please share his story.

|
This is
Barron...Barron is a 5 year old yellow lab...He belongs to Tyler, a young
man that used to be one of our town's cops. Tyler has changed jobs to the
oil field and will be living in a small travel trailer and be gone for
months at a time.
He totally
loves this dog. There was so much sadness in his voice when he called
me...But it is in Barron's best interest that Tyler has decided to try and
find Barron a new home... Barron is NOT neutered...he is a very smart boy,
knows sit, heel, and lay...he also says "I LOVE YOU"...seriously, my sons
use to always come home and tell me about this... He is use to being an only
dog...He is fine with other dogs, when properly introduced.. |

scratching to get out of some enclosure. She is sweet as sugar and is spayed

Nacogdoches, TX - Beautiful Sassy is hoping for the purrrrfect home.

Rescuer, Alexandra Kelsey writes: This girl should be an ad for home comfort. I think my blood pressure went down when I looked at her picture and fantasized about having her sit on my couch with me. She is a big, big girl—not all fluff, and every pound of her is sweet as pie. I'm sure she is sad too, because after seven years of living with a family, the couple divorced and she got the shelter option. This kitty's name is Sassy, which soooo is not her, if you ask me, and she is a happy, healthy 7-year old. She loves people and is good with other cats. Dogs are an unknown right now. Sassy's bad luck could be your good luck, because where on earth will you ever fund such a stunning kitty?? But, Sassy has one factor which may limit her luck. The vet said she tested positive for FELV. I don't know if they are planning to do a re-test to make sure they didn't get a false positive, but Sassy is absolutely asymptomatic and has been for her life with her people. Diana is working very hard to find a nice home for this kitty angel. Please contact her if you have ideas. Diana, the kitty angel, is at feralaristocat@yahoo.com or (936) 556-2754.
Spring Hill, Florida - Sweet senior yorkie, Andy, is looking for a special home.

He is a good eater and very gentle and loving..plays well with others and gets along with big and small dogs..he listens well when told no or to stop barking..will bark when wants to go out. If you would like to adopt Andy, please contact Lue Maier, 352-556-4769
July 25 - UPDATE - CHASE AND TAYLOR HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!!!!
Kentucky - Chase and Taylor, two Maine Coon Seniors need homes - headed for county hi-kill shelter - their caretaker passed away.
|
|

|
Taylor http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/16875468 Click link for more info and photos. |
Chase http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/16875457 Click link for more info and photos |
Sad situation - These two boys desperately need a
real home to go to (they have been boarded in some manner for over 4 years by
their caretaker!), either together or separately. They are currently being
boarded at the vet, but cannot stay forever, and will face euthanization or
going to a hi-kill shelter. Their time is VERY limited.
They are 9 year old brothers although they can be placed in separate homes.
Chase is a sweet, long-haired taupe colored kitty with striking gold eyes. His
coloring is amazing. You have never seen such a gorgeous cat! He is very loving
and enjoys his time with you so much he drools when getting the attention he
loves. Taylor is a lovely steel gray long-haired kitty who is a bit more
independent. He appreciates attention and will give you kisses. He gets a little
more nervous if approached too quickly or if there is a lot of activity. He is a
big cat, too, with long fur. Both cats like to be held. Taylor, like most cats
will let you know when he has had enough attention. Both cats are neutered.
We live in a county with a
hi-kill shelter and a limited admission humane society foster program. We have
had no luck finding a foster home for these boys. They are still being boarded
at the vet by the previous caretaker of the estate, but this isn't going to last
much longer and she may euthanize. These cats are too lovely and friendly and
need a second chance.
Chase and Taylor are 100% indoor cats and are up-to-date on their FVRCP
(distemper, etc.) and rabies vaccinations. They are litter box trained and are
not on any special diet. Please,
if you can help them, contact Kat,
volunteer Humane Society of Calloway County, Murray, KY Cat Adoption Team,
at

or phone 270-759-1884 ASAP!

| Delilah | Samson |
Samson & Delilah
are 5 year old, declawed and desperately in need of a
quiet, patient foster or adopter. These two originally came from a hoarder house
and have been through a few foster homes, but have never been completely
socialized. They are very timid, but I can pet them and they are not aggressive
at all. Delilah has polyps in one ear and may be partially deaf. They are now
caged at a shelter. These cats have been through so much together. They really
deserve a safe place to rest and feel at home.
Please contact Kathleen Sullivan at

Hollywood FL - Meet Natalie - This sweetheart is hoping for the perfect home.
.jpg)
This
is Natalie - such a cutie! I have had her in foster care for over two
months and just the sweetest thing. She is a 3 yr old German Spitz mix and
weighs about 20lbs. She has all her shots is spayed and micro-chipped. I really
like her and don't mind at all having her with me as long as she needs me. But
she really deserves a family to call her own. She is good with dogs and kids and
just enjoys relaxing at home. If you can crosspost and do your magic I would
really be grateful. I'm concerned that she might be getting attached to me (or
me to her) and I know I can't keep her because I have to foster to save
others... Kathy.

Dallas, TX - Muffin's owner passed away - she needs a home - please help!
This is Muffin, an orphaned kitty. She will answer to Muffin or “kitty.” Muffin’s owner passed away, and she is in need of a home. Prior to his passing away, the owner had told me she was about 5 years old. However, I took her to the vet for her shots and testing, and the vet felt like she was about 10. She is in good shape and is literally like a spring chicken so I just don’t know. She has a clean bill of health from the vet. I can provide the records. She was an indoor/outdoor kitty. Her owner let her out in the morning and in at night. She is probably very low maintenance. Because she is used to being the only cat, she might do better in a one cat house. She is a sweet kitty, even the vet and the groomers said she was very sweet, but as cats can be, she is sometimes independent. She loves to play with toys. It is so cute to watch her. Also, pictures do not do her justice. She is stunning. It was heartbreaking to walk up on her porch after the owner passed away and to see her lying on one of the chairs waiting for him. This kitty needs a companion. Please contact me ASAP. 214-797-5877. Thank you! Karri Speck.

Philadelphia, PA - Senior lab now orphaned - please give him a loving future!
Maximillion (A10873638) is a very sweet, 8 year old lab mix, whose owner passed away and family members dumped him at ACCT. This sweet old man is very frightened in the shelter, he doesn't deserve this at the end of his life. I took him to an event with us yesterday in Pennypack and he is beyond sweet and very gentle. Please share him with your friends, family, pet contacts etc. We would love to, at the very least, find a foster home and get him out of ACCT ASAP! He isn't going to do well there and ACCT is beyond full, dozens of adoptable dogs were euth'd last week alone ;( He is presently at ACCT, 111 W. Hunting Park Avenue, Phila. 267-385-3800. Please feel free to share my email - terirocco@gmail.com as well. Thanks. Teri

Ft. Lauderdale, FL - A rescuer needs help placing his beautiful black labrador retriever, Lincoln.

Bill writes: I have fostered and
adopted many dogs over the years, opening my home, my heart and giving the
simple love that they deserve. This is the first time I am on the other side of
the picture and it is heart wrenching to have to give up this gentle,
affectionate and loyal soul. It is not an easy change for me to make but I must
do what is in his best interest.
Lincoln is very quiet,
entertains himself with his few toys
and mostly
loves
just being around people,
more so adults than children. Though a little sheepish at first with strangers
he warms up quickly. He is not noisy, but will bark when there is a knock at the
door. Given the opportunity he runs almost wildly outdoors and returns to his
name calling eager for praise.
He is
obedient and follows the household rules. At a year and a half old he is fully
grown and weighs just under 50 lbs.
His diet consists of dry food, is current on all his shots and has always been
in good health.
You can see Lincoln's gentleness in his face. If you have any questions or
decide you would like to meet him just let me know. As I said earlier thank you
for just having an interest in helping me find a home for this sweet gentle
soul.

Douglasville, GA- family must move to location that won't take pets - can you save Riley?

Lana Nesbitt writes: My cat Riley is 3 years old and can no longer keep her due to the fact we're having to move into a place that does not allow animals because of our low income, we had to move into a temperary place after the flooding and now the only place that we can afford doesnt allow ANY animals, I begged with them but its a very strict policy. We just cant afford her anymore. She is a very friendly cat and she doesnt scratch or bite. She's good with kids i have an 8 month old and she does fine with him. I adopted her from a shelter when she was a kitten. She is an orange short haired tabby and very beautiful. Riley is spayed. She went to the vet about a year ago and got her shots but shes probably due for her new ones now. The latest I can keep her is August 10 and I really really don't want to have to take her to the pound. I've asked everyone and tried everything I could to find a home for her. Please help me! Stafford, TX - Kitty's owner has cancer and had to give Janine up - she needs a loving home.

Janine's owner had just been diagnosed with cancer. Faced with fighting the battle of her life, she tried to figure out how she was going to cope with the treatment and the illness associated with the treatment. She felt that she would be so ill and her prognosis was so uncertain that she could no longer continue to care for her beloved Calico Cat, Janine. She knew of no one who would take Janine, an older cat, and thus made the heart wrenching decision to have her euthanized. Fortunately for Janine, the owner took her to Stafford Oaks Veterinary Hospital. When she explained her situation, the wonderful vets and staff at the hospital offered to keep Janine and try to find her a good home where she could live out her days. The owner was very grateful and left with a lighter heart.
Dr. Puksta, the vet at the hospital most familiar with Janine, said that Janine is in great health for an older cat. She is a petite calico who weighs in at about 5 pounds. She is an indoor cat, spayed, in good health and very agile for a cat estimated to be about 13. Her teeth have been cleaned and are in good shape. Dr. Puksta said that Janine has a charming personality. She loves to be petted and she loves to nap. She is not afraid of dogs or other cats although puppies and kittens tend to want to play a little too much for Janine. Dr. Puksta said that Janine, in her time at the hospital, has become a favorite. She feels that Janine has many more years to share with a human companion.
If you are interested or can help find Janine a new home, please contact Maggie or Dr. Puksta at Stafford Oaks Veterinary Hospital, Stafford, Texas. Maggie's e-mail address is mghoover21@yahoo.com. The hospital's phone number is (281) 499-3538.
Houston, TX area - Owner passed away - two sweet cats need a new home - please help them.

One of my closest friends(I went to nursing school with her in early 80’s) mother passed away quite unexpectedly and suddenly. She lived by herself with 2 cats and a Chi. My friend has taken the dog but her other dog (a rescue chow chow) isn’t cat friendly and she heartbrokenly has asked my assistance in placing these kitties. The first pic is of Mocha, a Siamese mix- a 6 yr old neutered male that has been declawed(was already done when she got him) both front and back. The second pic is Calie a female Calico that is about 12 yrs old and spayed. She has not been declawed. If anyone has a place for them it would help my friend greatly as she can rest easy they are loved and cared for. They are still residing in her mothers house at present time however the house is going on the market soon and she wants to see them settled soon as she is driving an hr each way each day to care for them and has no other family members to help her.

along great with every person she's ever met, loves to play with her jolly ball,
and is OK around other dogs. Mini is a house dog and tries to be a couch
potatoe but still gets zoomies. She is current on all vaccinations, HW
negative/on preventative, spayed, and microchipped. Mini has passed her Basic
Obedience Course and ready to continue on with more advanced Obedience classes.
The adoption fee for Mini is $300. She is just a fantastic dog and I'll be
happy to tell you more about her.

Wilbur is 5 or 6 years old and may weigh 15 pounds. His person died suddenly July 2 and poor Wilbur was outside all night. He has barked himself hoarse and is very afraid. He is terrified of cats so the woman's family couldn't take him home and he is at the Castaic shelter. I do not have an ID for him yet but can get one soon. Wilbur is neutered, has all his shots, and gets along well with other dog. I do not know if he is chipped.

Dallas, TX area - Brownie needs a loving permanent home.
![]() |
![]() |
Kristie LaVerdure writes: Since June 3rd we have been trying to find Brownie’s original home. It is now very apparent that no one is looking for this amazing dog. Believe me when I say that we would have no hesitation about keeping her if our little dogs were accepting it! There are only positive things that I have to say about this German Shepherd Mix.
Brownie had been wandering our neighborhood for weeks, alone and hungry. She was obviously terrified and would not come to us or any of our neighbors that were trying to help her. We now believe that she was “dumped”! Luckily one of our neighbors was able to lure her into their home. Our neighbor did not have a fenced yard and Brownie was going to need to go to the shelter. We agreed to keep her and try to find her home! We have had Brownie since June 3rd and have really gotten to know this wonderful dog. I truly believe she would fit into any home situation as long as you have a fenced yard or an invisible fence. She gets along great with small or large dogs. We are not sure about cats yet. She is definitely potty trained. She does like to play outside, but she is truly an inside dog. Her manners are amazing! If she has her own blanket or dog bed, she will mainly stay there. She knows “sit” and “lay” and she loves to play fetch inside or outside. Although she is energetic when she is playing or ready to go for a walk, she is very well behaved and not overly energetic. Speaking of walks…if you are a runner or walker, this is definitely your dog! If she sees her leash, she will take it in her mouth and carry it to the front door! It is adorable. She loves to go for a walk in the morning or evening, or both. Brownie would be great in an environment with or without children as long as she is getting a lot of attention! Brownie is also not a big barker, digger, or chewer! We have taken Brownie to the vet (she loves to ride in the car) and she is now up to date on all of her shots. She has also tested NEGATIVE for heart worms and is on a program for flea and tick prevention. There is honestly not one negative thing I can say about her! We have tested her out for you and she is ready for a new, loving home!!!

Sarasota, Florida - Mr. Frodo, sweet little Lhasa Apso needs a new home NOW. Family is abandoning him!

Please crosspost!! Thanks for any help.
This is an 8 yr old male, neutered Lhasa Apso that is unwanted in a new marriage! "Frodo" has to be placed in a forever home or foster by the end of the month. The owners' son has him and is moving August 1, 2010....... He sounds like a phenominal dog and although he doesn't see 100% he is suspected of being house broken, no bite history and will be up to date on all shots! Please call or email me for info or to meet him! I will arrange. Contact is Wendy Scott - 941-320-2220 or email: wscott@yorkez.com
Update - July 12 - Mr. Frodo is now being fostered so we can tell prospective adopters a lot more about him though! He is a darling lhasa- likes to sit on the lap of the foster, is great/ok with small dogs but absolutely wouldn't mind having all the attention. wouldn't be good with cats (too frisky). abhors being groomed but likes being brushed. wonderful in the housetraining dept-he's pretty much housebroken from what the foster can tell (big bonus!) and loves toys but especially balls. doesn't thrilled to being walked but loves running around the yard after a ball. I hope we find the pawfect home soon! Thank you, Wendy.
Houston TX area - Little kitten (about 8 weeks old) found alone on the street - Needs a home ASAP.
Please feel free to forward
this on to anyone who may be able to help. My friend found a tiny orange kitten
this weekend outside her home, we're not sure the age yet but probably about 8
weeks old? She is unable to have any pets in her home but is leaving food out
for the kitten who is very sweet and loves to snuggle. If you or anyone you
know may be able to temporarily foster this sweet kitten or help in any way
please contact me. We don't want the little sweetie to be left outside and be
in danger of getting hit by a car. Thank you so much for
your help. Sincerely, Jill Garofalo. 713-304-6383 (cell) 713-458-5308

Houston, TX - Two precious kittens rescued from the streets now need a home!

Their rescuer writes: I found and trapped two precious kittens living under a dumpster at our HEB. They were a little fearful at first but so hungry that they walked right into the trap side by side. One appears to be male, one female. The female hissed at me (and it was the cutest little hiss) until I picked her up and she began purring right away. Now she purrs every time I pick her up. She's a good eater and a gentle soul. He is a little more energetic but still too tiny to tell. He doesn't hiss but gets nervous when picked up. After a few minutes of stroking he closes his eyes and lets out a big sigh before going to sleep. Neither of them try to bite or scratch. I have no doubt they will make great family pets and get over their fear quickly. I'm guessing they are approx 5 weeks of age and they are almost identical in appearance. The male is a tad bigger than the little girl but they both fit in the palm of your hand! I need to find a suitable home, foster or rescue to take them in and show them a kind hand.
I travel for a living so I can't keep them here by themselves while I'm gone for days at a time. Please network these sweet faces! We appreciate it! :) If you would like to meet/adopt or foster these sweet babies, please contact Heather h3e@aol.com (7/15/10)

MARGIE writes: A family in our neighborhood has lost their home and moved out of state. They left behind 6 of their 9 cats because the place they went would only allow them to take 3. My daughter and I have managed to find homes for all but the last 2 cats, GINGER and MONKEY. They are still in the house (with air cond), but since the home is in foreclosure, they don't have much time before the bank comes in and takes it. I visit them daily and wish that I was in a position to take them in. But, my husband and daughter are both allergic to cats, and my daughter is undergoing treatment for Stage IV cancer.
Both of these cats are sweet and loving. GINGER is spayed, and MONKEY is neutered. We are going to update their shots and have them combo tested this Wednesday, so they will be ready to go! PLEASE help us find a place for these two wonderful cats before their home is taken! Thank You! Call Margie if you can adopt or help in any way. 678-334-1430 dmk543@comcast.net

Derby, CT - A Soldier Needs a Home for her Wonderful Cats - Please help and share their story.

These two super sweet, 18 month old brothers are best friends, but sadly their mama is a soldier and is going to be transferred a lot in the next few years and she just can't keep her boys any longer.
Both cats have tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV. They have good litter box manners, are neutered and are up to date on their shots. We're asking that these two cats STAY together as it just wouldn't be right to separate these loving boys.
If you dream of having two cats who get along, these are your boys! The cats come with their litter box, cat carriers and their toys, too.
The cats are located in DERBY, CONNECTICUT in foster care, but their foster mom is allergic to them so the sooner we get them homes, the better! If you can help a Soldier and save two kitties lives, please Contact: Christa 203-751-7523 or email: leopardprncss4@aol.com. (7/12/10)

Virginia - Buster is FIV+ but healthy, needs a home ASAP!! What a handsome tiger guy!

Buster is fully vetted, is between 2 and 4 years old. He is very sweet, friendly, gets along well with other cats. He would make a great companion for another kitty or two. Although he is FIV+, he is healthy, loves to eat and deserves to be happy.
Remember, FIV cannot be spread to humans and can only be passed to other cats through a deep bite. There is no reason this sweet natured boy shouldn't be considered for adoption. If you would like more information about Buster, please contact Dianne at help@catsunlimited.org (5/10)

Miami, FL - Beautiful Jader is looking for a home.
Meet Jader, a 6 year old black lab mix. You would never know her age by the way she plays! Her last owners were AWFUL and neglectful so I decided to foster her and find her a home, but given the bad economy it has been difficult to get any interest. She is spayed and up to date with all her shots. I took her to the vet on May 9th and her blood work and fecal test came back perfect.

She is fully house broken and has never had an accident in the house. She knows
basic commands, and she is very gentle when you give her treats. She loves to
give kisses and snuggle, I was told that she will try to dig her way under a
fence, so you can’t leave her in a yard unsupervised. She does not do well with
crates/cages; she will bloody her paws and mouth trying to get out of them
(probably due to something that happened in her past).
She is a very loyal and protective dog. She does protect her home once she knows
it’s hers and she’s very protective of her family. There will be some people who
come over your house that she might not like (she will let you know who they
are) She has NEVER bitten anyone.
I was told that she gets along with most dogs- she was frequently around 3
weimerimers and a St. Bernard. She does not do well with cats, small dogs or
small children.
She desperately needs a loving forever home with someone who will give her all
the love she deserves. Someone who is willing to continue her training would be
ideal.
There will be a home screening and vet reference check along with a small adoption fee before she is adopted out. She has been through a lot and I want to make sure that she goes to the right home. Please contact Nicole at nicramos23@gmail.com please type Jader in the subject line. Thank you!!!! (5/10)
Aurora, OH - Sweet Jubee is waiting for love and a new home.

Jubee has had a rough time lately. She had to be removed from PETSMART because
she became too depressed, then even after she was back at the shelter she stayed
depressed and was moved to a temporary foster home, but what she really
needs is a loving home!
She is a long haired 6 year young spayed beauty!
As of right now Jubee does not bother when people come to look at the cats, its
like she has given up hope. Jubee has
been waiting almost 1 year!
Anyone interested in adopting her would have to understand she is very shy right
now and would need time to adjust, also she would do better in a quiet home.
Jubee needs a loving family to make her feel safe and secure, and she will give
lots of love in return. If you have room in
your heart and your home for Jubee, please contact
goldie544@yahoo.com or
call
330-296-4022.

Houston area - Orphaned orange boys hoping for a home.
Per Happy Cat Adoptions, Tanhouser (left) and Sunshine (right) were left behind when their human mom died. They were indoor/outdoor kitties, and when their beloved mom died, they refused to go back in the house. A friend cared for them, but being a dog person, didn’t know how to help them recover from their trauma.
Happy Cat Adoptions has taken them in and we’re looking for someone in the Houston area to foster the two red boys or better yet—an adopter! The boys need to stay together. Tanhouser is an older gent at around nine, and Sunshine is about five—but they have been together all of Sunshine’s life. They are up-to-date on shots, combo tested negative, and micro-chipped. They have just had a dental and are healthy. If you can adopt or foster these sweet boys, please contact Mickey Platko at Happy Cat Adoptions:
mickey@domecats.com or 281-259-7322 or 281-259-9113
